A LOVELY MEDAL awarded at the PRESTON & DISTRICT UTILITY POULTRY SOCIETY'S 4th annual laying compettion-from the 14th oct 1920 to 30th march 1921- 2nd prize awarded to a pen of 4 white wyandottes laying 401 eggs in that given time.a period of 167 days in winter, birds pretty well laying an egg every 2nd day, just above that.a good effort.
