INTERESTING READING

WHILE away I was reading OUR DOMESTIC FOWLS, by WILLIAM CHARLES MARTIN--1847, in it was quite a few references to egypt, and early signs of fowls there, it occured to me on the way home after seeing tut, that history was not as strong in these times on such a subject, tut was not discovered along with many of the treasures of egypt until the late 1800's early 1900's, with my own eyes I saw a baby chick with strong long gamey legs, on one of the artifacts, such a sign, would of been of great benifit to MARTIN  and his thoughts some 80 years earlier.
